Datadog is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join their team in Portugal. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will partner with different stakeholders across the organization to secure Datadog's cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with engineers across various domains of the Datadog infrastructure stack, driving a culture of empowering engineers to have strong security ownership of their products and services. This role involves developing security resources and tools that help promote a secure by default model.
Key responsibilities include:
- Solving challenging cloud infrastructure security problems
- Discovering top security challenges and implementing solutions
- Building security controls to detect, prevent, and correct cloud vulnerabilities
- Leveraging and influencing Datadog's home-grown security products
The ideal candidate should have:
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in Development Operations, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Security Architecture, Cloud Security, or Offensive Security
- Fluency in modern coding languages (Python, Go, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience with Azure and Kubernetes
- Passion for implementing solutions to complex problems at scale
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
