Responsibilities For Senior Planning Engineer
- Establish strong client relationships and communicate with technical and management personnel
- Prepare and present PowerPoint decks on progress, findings, and recommendations
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Establish work breakdown structures, CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules
- Load schedules with resource and cost information
- Perform resource analyses to identify bottlenecks
- Update and maintain monthly and weekly schedules and reports
- Review consultants, contractors, and vendor schedules
- Implement earned value system (EVM)
- Identify program risks and provide mitigation recommendations
- Perform what-if and delay analyses
- Act as primary communication link between company and clients
Requirements For Senior Planning Engineer
- 12+ years of construction planning and scheduling experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, engineering, project management, or related field
- Fluency in English
- Vertical construction experience
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Experience in client-facing positions
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
