Description For Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure and Platforms

DoorDash's Core Infrastructure team is seeking a Software Engineer for their Cloud Infrastructure and Platforms team to help build and operate reliable, scalable infrastructure. The role focuses on developing internal self-serve infrastructure platforms that support service creation, configuration management, runtime operations, and cloud primitives. As part of this position, you'll work on integrating cloud services, creating intuitive abstractions, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering, with strong skills in Go for backend development and TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend work. You'll be responsible for developing self-serve platforms, enhancing user experience, optimizing engineering workflows, and driving cloud governance initiatives. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools is essential.
