Description For Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Ebury, a leading FinTech company, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Madrid. As part of our platform engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our platform meets customer needs and business objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure high availability and reliability of our systems
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and incident management processes
  • Utilize observability tools to improve system performance
  • Design and implement automation tools
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Collaborate with development teams on scalability and reliability
  • Contribute to the design of new systems and services

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Several years of experience building large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture (GCP or AWS)
  • Experience with containerized systems on Kubernetes and Amazon Container Services
  • Deep understanding of programming languages (Python preferred)
  • Passion for architecting scalable systems and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills
