Job Description
Endex is building the most sophisticated digital coworker for financial services, an AI financial analyst function. As a Backend Engineer, you will build the core systems that power the financial analysis platform. This involves designing and developing robust APIs, services, and application logic that transforms complex financial data into intuitive tools for investment professionals. You'll work with large data engineering pipelines that ingest millions of earnings calls and SEC filings, as well as an enterprise search function.
You'll also focus on infrastructure, including deployments and security, ensuring the systems operate with the reliability, scalability, and protection that investment firms demand. Scaling self-hosted services inside large financial institutions is ideal. The tech stack includes Typescript and Python. The company offers a salary range of $200K - $250K, equity (0.1% - 0.5%), and visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities
- Build the core systems that power the financial analysis platform

- Work with large data engineering pipelines that ingest millions of earnings calls/SEC filings and an enterprise search function
- Focus on deployments and security, ensuring systems operate w/ the reliability, scalability, and protection that investment firms demand
- Work scaling self-hosting of services inside large financial institutions
Requirements
- 4 - 8 years of experience in engineering with a bias for backend
- Experience at an interesting, high-growth startup
