Job Description
Equator is developing an AI-native system of record for biopharma teams, backed by $3M in funding. As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in building core systems. You'll collaborate closely with the CEO and CTO, contributing to product feature development across the entire stack. You will tackle backend challenges such as DB consistency, sharding, workflow design, and building AI-first primitives. On the frontend, you'll design innovative interfaces that go beyond traditional GUIs. This role offers a unique opportunity to define the company's core architecture and culture.
The ideal candidate will be excited to move fast, solve tough technical problems, and operate independently. Strong instincts regarding product quality, performance, and infrastructure scaling are essential. This is an early-stage opportunity, free from legacy systems, where you'll have significant ownership and impact. Located in Barcelona, the HQ is situated beachfront. They offer flexible work hours, particularly for US/CAN based engineers. The salary range for this position is €60,000 - €150,000, along with equity options of 0.1% - 0.6%.
Responsibilities
- Build core systems at Eqtr.ai
- Work closely with the CEO and CTO to develop product features across the entire stack
- Develop product features across the entire stack
- Tackle backend challenges including DB consistency, sharding, workflow design, and building AI-first primitives
- Design new interfaces beyond traditional GUIs for coordination
