Data Platform Engineer

Euromonitor International, a global leader in strategic business research and analysis, is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join their technology team in Vilnius, Lithuania. This is a hybrid role requiring office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The role focuses on designing and implementing data-centric business solutions while ensuring optimal performance and scalability of their platforms. As a Data Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing data systems, pipelines, and storage solutions, working with cutting-edge technologies including Microsoft Azure Data Services, SQL, and various Business Intelligence tools.

Key responsibilities include automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, ensuring system security and scalability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and researchers. You'll also contribute to best practices and mentor team members.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with SQL programming, Azure Data Services, and CI/CD tools. Knowledge of both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with infrastructure-as-code scripting, is essential. Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like SSRS, PowerBI, or Tableau is required.
