Job Description
Fern enables businesses to offer "Stripe-level" SDKs and Docs for their REST API. Inspired by internal tooling at AWS and Palantir, they're building Fern to let every engineering team offer easy-to-use and well-documented APIs. Founded in 2022, Fern is backed by Bessemer and YC. As a Frontend Deployed Engineer, you’ll work directly with Fern's customers to solve their highest-priority problems, building relevant products/features, and influencing the product roadmap.
This role involves direct relationships with customers, where you'll be the face of Fern, building a network within the SaaS startup community, especially among YC founders. You'll move fast, working across several codebases to release bug fixes and features, such as fixing bugs related to the TypeScript SDK generator or adding features to the Docs Frontend. This role also involves driving Fern's product roadmap by understanding customer needs and building what people want. You will work directly with the CEO, CTO, and other founding members to bring in talented engineers. Compensation ranges from $170K to $230K, with equity offered between 0.1%-0.3%. Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in professional software development
