Senior Optimization Engineer

Fluence Digital, formed after acquiring San Francisco-based AMS, is revolutionizing the energy sector with AI-powered software solutions for energy storage and flexible generation assets. We're seeking a Senior Optimization Engineer to lead our market-leading Mosaic platform development.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of energy market optimization, working with cutting-edge technology to enhance our bidding and dispatch systems across global electricity markets. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership in optimization model development, forecast integration, and platform improvement.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of industry experience, deep knowledge of electricity markets (CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, PJM, NEM, Japan), and advanced expertise in Python and optimization techniques. You'll work with commercial solvers, implement best practices in software development, and deploy solutions using modern tools like Kubernetes.
