Job Description
General Medicine is a healthcare store transforming outpatient care access by making it simple to get the best healthcare with fast access and upfront pricing. As a Software Engineer, you'll help build and scale their healthcare store, making it delightfully simple to shop for any type of care. You will collaborate directly with clinical staff to understand workflows and integrate with healthcare systems like EHRs and insurance platforms.
Your responsibilities include building and maintaining full-stack features spanning pricing engines, appointment booking, and payment systems. You will write product requirements documents, SQL analytics queries, and own QA for your features. You will also work directly with clinicians and operations teams to understand needs and shadow their workflows, integrating with complex healthcare infrastructure including EHRs, insurance systems, and lab providers.
The role requires handling ambiguous problems in a fast-paced startup environment, wearing multiple hats. General Medicine offers competitive equity. This is a hybrid position requiring in-person work 3 days a week in San Francisco, CA. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a full-stack or frontend engineer
