Responsibilities For Application Engineer, Supply Chain Logistics

  • Write modular, well-structured, and self-sustaining codes
  • Develop overall systems design, research, and evaluate vendor supplied applications
  • Help design, build, and deploy internal business applications
  • Conduct and oversee testing of application modules
  • Design, develop and run systems that automate Alphabet's supply chain
  • Integrate systems with Alphabet's internal systems and third-party logistics providers

Requirements For Application Engineer, Supply Chain Logistics

Java
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience working with Java
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related technical field (preferred)
  • Experience implementing, customizing and integrating third-party applications within Supply Chain, HR, Marketing, or similar industries (preferred)
  • Ability to participate in multiple full system implementation life cycles
  • Excellent people management, communication, and problem solving skills
