Responsibilities For Associate Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Storage
- Manage customer problem through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools for Storage Google Cloud Platform products
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
- Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support, including non-standard work hours or shifts
Requirements For Associate Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Storage
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues
- Experience coding in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go or JavaScript)
- Experience with object storage systems (preferred)
- Experience in network troubleshooting, including collecting and reading packet captures (preferred)
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries against large datasets and log files (preferred)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows systems, file systems and client-server protocols (preferred)
- Knowledge of core data structures and HTTP Protocol, Web frameworks, and common Web Technologies (preferred)
