Cloud Architect, SAP

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Architect specializing in SAP technologies to join their team in Bengaluru. This role combines technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, requiring a professional who can bridge the gap between complex cloud solutions and customer needs.

The position demands a strong background in SAP technologies, including HANA, Netweaver, and Business Suite, along with expertise in cloud architecture. You'll work directly with Google's most strategic customers, managing critical projects and providing technical advisory services. The role involves approximately 25% travel for client engagements.

As a Cloud Architect, you'll be responsible for proposing architectures for SAP products and managing cloud-based SAP solution deployments. You'll collaborate with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to deliver successful implementations while becoming a trusted advisor to decision-makers. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, from engineering teams to sales and customers.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience managing client-facing projects, though 5 years of technical client service experience is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with an MBA or Master's degree being advantageous. Cloud certification and experience implementing projects for live SAP environments on public cloud are highly valued.
