Responsibilities For Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Data Analytics, Google Cloud
- Develop an understanding of Google Cloud's data analytics (e.g., BigQuery) and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues
- Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, customer organizations
- Work as part of a team of engineers/consultants that globally ensure 24-hour customer support
- Understand customer issues, advocate for their needs with internal teams
- Work with customers on their production databases to resolve issues and achieve product readiness, availability, and scale
Requirements For Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Data Analytics, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of experience reading code in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go or JavaScript, etc.) or in system design
- 4 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues
- Experience in data analytics, warehousing, ETL development, data science, or other Big Data applications
