Distinguished Engineer, Workspace AI

Google's Workspace Intelligence team is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead their AI initiatives across their suite of productivity tools including Meet, Chat, Gmail, Drive, and Docs. The position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $323,000-$465,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, particularly in generative AI and LLMs, with 15 years of software engineering experience or 13 years with an advanced degree.

As a Distinguished Engineer, you'll be responsible for technical architecture, infrastructure development, and establishing processes that enable rapid deployment of high-impact ML features. This role combines technical leadership with strategic thinking, requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to drive innovation at scale.
