Google is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Android GPU Driver Quality team. This role is part of the Android Games and Graphics organization, with a vision of making Android the primary platform for game development. The Engineering Manager will lead a team focused on improving the quality of GPU drivers in the Android ecosystem, working with game and high-performance app developers to identify and address driver regressions. Key responsibilities include developing a driver quality metric to measure ecosystem impact and transforming findings into actionable and enforceable certification.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, and 3 years in a technical leadership role, with 2 years of people management experience. Experience in Android, Graphics, and game development is highly valued. Knowledge of GPU Driver creation, testing, or debugging is preferred.
