Responsibilities For Engineering Manager, Geo, User Generated Content
- Manage a team of Machine Learning (ML) and Infrastructure Software Engineers while demonstrating technical leadership to strategize the team's execution
- Work with feature teams to define and refine product features and strategy leveraging the advancement of ML
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
- Build the team's product strategy and enable the team to maximize the delivered impact with technical expertise
- Create a positive, respectful, and safe working environment
Requirements For Engineering Manager, Geo, User Generated Content
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 5 years of experience building Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) solutions, platforms or infrastructure
- 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or in a related technical field (preferred)
- Experience working collaboratively with other designers (preferred)
- Experience driving technical cross-functional AI/ML based projects from research to production (preferred)
