Firmware Engineer, Camera

Google is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their Camera team in Seoul, South Korea. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in software development and a passion for imaging technology. You'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge camera solutions, working on quality design, and imaging algorithm evaluation and development.

The position sits within Google's Devices & Services team, which combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create revolutionary user experiences. You'll be working with multiple teams to enhance camera quality and experiences, developing and implementing imaging signal processing features that align with emerging camera technologies.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with at least one year of programming experience in C++, Python, or MATLAB. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or equivalent experience in image processing, computer vision, and computational photography development. Strong candidates will have experience with imaging system tuning, quality evaluation, and color space algorithms.
