Responsibilities For Manufacturing Test Development Engineer, Google Cloud
- Lead and implement the system firmware and software development for next-generation test cards and systems
- Design and implement tools for automating diagnostics, performance evaluation, and reliability assurance
- Design and implement solutions for collecting and analyzing metrics for storage products in the cloud infrastructure
- Define the manufacturing test strategy for new products and work with partners to develop test solutions
- Support manufacturing test software for new and existing hardware designs
- Write test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements
Requirements For Manufacturing Test Development Engineer, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience developing with Python, Java or C++
- Experience in managing suppliers and partners in implementing design requirements
- 2 years of experience with software/firmware (preferred)
- Experience in development of manufacturing test software (preferred)
- Experience in development of software test solutions for complex computing, storage, and networking products (preferred)
- Ability to generate product-specific test plans and execute testing accordingly
- Ability to communicate clearly with contract manufacturers and peers in worldwide geographies
- Excellent leadership, investigative, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creative and strategic skills
