Senior Cloud Engineer, Data and Analytics

Google is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in Data and Analytics to join their team in Warsaw, Poland. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 6 years of experience in data processing and software development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, Java, Scala, Spark, and Hadoop frameworks, as well as strong SQL skills.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will guide customers on data ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis using Google Cloud Platform. Your responsibilities will include designing large-scale data processing systems, developing scalable data pipelines, and troubleshooting platform challenges. You'll work on data migrations, modernization projects, and collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include translating customer requirements into solution architectures, leading migration efforts to GCP, designing and operationalizing data infrastructure, and implementing data quality and governance procedures. You'll also be expected to organize project requirements and manage stakeholders effectively.
