The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years in a technical leadership role

- Strong background in computer science or related field

- Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals
- Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role
- Develop the long-term technical vision and roadmap within, and often beyond, the scope of your teams
- Oversee systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and review product or system development code
- Drive technical project strategy, lead large-scale ML infrastructure optimization, and oversee the design and implementation of state-of-the-art GenAI solutions
Requirements For Senior Software Engineering Manager, AI/ML GenAI, Google Cloud AI
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects
- 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role
- 5 years of experience with state of the art GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts
- 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure
