Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineering Manager, LearnX
- Lead Engineering teams, build Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven capabilities and features for learning products
- Guide the development of AI capabilities and features, manage data training systems, and oversee infrastructure for efficient AI model training
- Define technical goal, strategy, and roadmap
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project delivery
- Build and manage a high-performing Engineering team
Requirements For Senior Software Engineering Manager, LearnX
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- 5 years of experience in people management, supervision/team leadership role
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
- Experience in Machine Learning, building/training AI models, backend data infrastructure or data engineering (preferred)
- Experience in managing Software Engineering teams and delivering multi-quarter projects (preferred)
- Experience with coaching and supporting engineers and engineering managers (preferred)
- Experience with ideation and innovating at scale (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with other people, teams, function across the world and communicate cross-functionally (preferred)
