Description For Senior Technical Program Manager, Chip Design

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join their Consumer Hardware Silicon team, focusing on developing high-performance and low-power hardware solutions. This role combines technical expertise with program management, requiring leadership of complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. The position involves working with Google's chip design initiatives, specifically leading cross-functional teams in the bring-up, debugging, and validation of System on a Chip (SoC) silicon.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical implementation and project management, working closely with architects and logic designers for pre-silicon platform planning and post-arrival silicon validation. This role is crucial in Google's mission to create innovative consumer hardware products that make computing more accessible and powerful for users worldwide.

As part of Google's commitment to diversity and inclusion, the role offers an opportunity to contribute to building products that create opportunities for everyone. The position requires strong technical background combined with excellent project management skills, including risk management, schedule coordination, and stakeholder communication. The role involves collaboration with teams across different locations, including Mountain View and Asia Pacific regions.

The position offers the chance to work at the forefront of silicon technology while being part of Google's broader mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible. You'll be contributing to the development of next-generation hardware solutions that power Google's consumer devices, making a direct impact on how users interact with technology in their daily lives.
