Description For SoC Automated Test Equipment Test Engineer

Google is seeking a SoC Automated Test Equipment Test Engineer to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining the systems that power Google's computing infrastructure. You'll be working on custom silicon solutions that drive Google's direct-to-consumer products, from low-level circuit design to large system design, through to high volume manufacturing.

The position requires expertise in product engineering and test engineering, with a focus on developing and implementing strategies for high volume manufacturing test of SoC products. You'll be responsible for leading ATE test deployment and optimization, working with cross-functional teams globally to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities For SoC Automated Test Equipment Test Engineer

  • Develop and implement strategies for high volume manufacturing test of SoC products, including troubleshooting, test coverage optimization, DPPM reduction, and power and performance assurance
  • Lead ATE test deployment and optimization for High Volume Manufacturing, working with the NPI product development and test team, vendors, and HVM product engineering
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe including ATE and SLT Test Engineering, Packaging, Supplier Management and Operations to build, deploy, and maintain a high volume manufacturing screening solution

Requirements For SoC Automated Test Equipment Test Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product engineering or test engineering
  • 5 years of experience with industry-standard tools, languages, and methodologies relevant to the development of silicon-based ICs and chips
  • Experience in ATE test development for NPI or High Volume Manufacturing
