As a Software Engineer III in the Security/Privacy team for Google Cloud, you will be working on critical projects to ensure the security and privacy of Google's vast infrastructure and user data.

You'll be part of the Technical Infrastructure team, which is responsible for building and maintaining the architecture behind everything users see online. This role involves developing and maintaining data centers, building next-generation Google platforms, and ensuring networks are up and running for the best user experience.

In this position, you'll manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. You'll be working specifically on data privacy and security, potentially focusing on areas like identity and access management.

  • Write product or system development code
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
