Software Engineer, Large User Models, Core Machine Learning

Google Cloud is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Large User Models and Core Machine Learning to join their innovative team. This role is part of the Core ML organization, which drives ML excellence for Google and is responsible for creating a cohesive path for machine learning across the company.

As a Software Engineer in this role, you'll be responsible for conducting applied research, building and improving large-scale transformer models, and experimenting with various ML architectures. The role requires a strong background in machine learning, with at least 2 years of experience in software development and ML algorithms. Experience with Large Language Models, NLP, or Generative AI is essential.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $136,000 to $200,000, plus additional benefits including bonus, equity, and comprehensive healthcare coverage. You'll be working at Google's Mountain View location, contributing to projects that impact billions of users worldwide.
