Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Real World Journeys, Full-Stack, Feature Development

  • Figure out Japanese user needs and understand which features to build
  • Work closely with Program Manager and UX, and across the stack from data collection, serving, and UI to build new features
  • Test the usefulness of new features by running live experiments, offline evaluations, analyzing results, feature engineering, and creativity

Requirements For Software Engineer, Real World Journeys, Full-Stack, Feature Development

Java
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++ or Java)
  • Experience with back-end development (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to support Japanese queries (preferred)
