Description For Software Engineer Tech Lead, Open Source Security

Google is seeking a Software Engineer Tech Lead to join their Core team focusing on Open Source Security. This role is crucial in making open source secure and safe for both Google and the industry.   • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages and data structures/algorithms
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture

  • Knowledge of authentication and security protocols, and applied cryptography
