Google Cloud Storage is seeking a Software Engineering Manager II to lead their Infrastructure team, specifically focusing on the actionable reliability team. This role involves overseeing the improvement of GCS serving stack reliability, establishing accurate end-to-end measurement of serving stack health, and building attribution frameworks to enhance issue resolution time.

As a Software Engineering Manager at Google, you'll be at the forefront of developing technologies that impact billions of users globally. The position requires a strong technical background with at least 5 years of software development experience and 3 years in technical leadership. You'll be working with Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud's highly scalable, distributed Object Store, where your team will be responsible for improving the reliability of the serving stack.

  • 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization (preferred)
