Requirements For Software Engineering Manager II, LearnX

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
  • 2 years of experience in people management, supervision/team leadership role
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
  • Experience in machine learning, building/training AI models, back-end data infrastructure or data engineering (preferred)
  • Experience with ideation and innovation at scale (preferred)
  • Experience running software engineering teams and delivering multi-quarter projects (preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate with other people, teams and functions globally, communicate cross-functionally (preferred)
  • Passion for coaching and supporting engineers and engineering managers (preferred)
