Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Content Safety Platform within the Core team. This role is crucial in building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products, focusing on underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. The position requires a seasoned professional with 8+ years of software development experience who will provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and influence a distributed team of engineers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, data structures/algorithms, and a proven track record of testing and launching software products. They will be responsible for managing project priorities, facilitating alignment across teams, and designing large-scale software solutions. The role offers the unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company and work on projects critical to Google's needs.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be part of the Core team that looks across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems.
