Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for their Anti-Abuse Solutions, Account Device and Integrity team. This role involves managing complex programs and solving hard challenges to deliver products that ensure a safe Google ecosystem for users. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with leadership, engineers, product managers, and user experience professionals to develop sophisticated protections that safeguard users and enhance the overall user experience.
As part of the Core team, you'll be responsible for building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. This involves being an owner and advocate for underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. The role requires looking across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems.
Key responsibilities include building consensus around directional goals, driving program OKRs and communications, digging deep into details while maintaining a big picture focus, partnering with cross-functional teams to increase developer velocity, and leveraging technology to automate processes and drive efficiencies.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience), at least 2 years of experience in program or project management, and experience with software development and managing execution of programs spanning multiple engineering teams and product areas. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience working in technical programs, experience in managing projects with complex legal and regulatory requirements, and strong communication skills.
