Description For Technical Program Manager, Delivery, Public Sector

Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. As a Technical Program Manager on our team, your mission is to empower government agencies to better serve the public through the transformative power of Google Cloud and its AI capabilities. You will lead complex technical programs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that address the unique challenges faced by government agencies. Your role is pivotal in accelerating the adoption of technology within the government sector, enabling greater efficiency, improved citizen services, and enhanced mission outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing multiple large-scale, cross-functional technical programs
  • Establishing relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Planning and prioritizing implementation tasks for features
  • Tracking and reporting program progress
  • Developing tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in program management
  • Experience with managing execution of programs
  • Active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph

Preferred qualifications include experience with organizing complex programs, navigating ambiguity, familiarity with GenAI frameworks, and the ability to drive technical discussions.
