Description For Technical Program Manager, Endpoint Security

Google's Enterprise Security team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their Endpoint Security initiative. This role is crucial in safeguarding Alphabet's infrastructure, endpoints, and user data by building and rolling out an extensible, scalable, and efficient security platform.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. The role involves working within the Core team, which is responsible for building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. You'll be an owner and advocate for underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure.

The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as you'll be collaborating with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners. You should be equally comfortable explaining team analyses and recommendations to executives as discussing technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Google emphasizes building a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the world around us. The company is committed to providing equal opportunities and fostering a sense of belonging throughout the organization. This role offers the unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company while contributing to Google's mission of solving problems for all users globally.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge, program management expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills. You'll be responsible for developing and executing program charters, implementing project management tools, establishing communication strategies, and driving cross-functional program execution. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that's essential to Google's security infrastructure and product development ecosystem.
