Google is seeking a Web Solutions Engineer II to join their gTech Analytics, Platforms, and Tools team. As part of the Tools Development and Automation team, you'll be responsible for managing solutions that make the Global Business Organization more efficient. You'll drive the development of tools, ideate product features, and design/implement scalable solutions. Working with Google's infrastructure, you'll handle big problems over large datasets.

In this role, you'll be part of an Engineering team developing and supporting tools, prototyping proofs of concept, and writing/reviewing technical design documents. You'll adhere to Google's software development best practices and work closely with Project/Product Management and Engineering teams.

You'll work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, requiring excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities For Web Solutions Engineer II, gTech Analytics, Platforms, Tools

  • Build full-stack web software in Java and TypeScript, including back-end services, data models, and front-end components, for users within technical services and business organizations
  • Collaborate with Product Engineers to enhance core platforms and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools
  • Write and review technical documents, including design, development, revision documents and review code in compiled or scripted languages
  • Analyze, review, and modify programs to increase operating efficiency or meet new requirements as well as execute testing, debugging, maintenance or program updates
