Responsibilities For Web Solutions Engineer, Support Tooling and Automation
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve our tools
- Understand customer and agent issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams like Software Engineering
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues
- Ingest and create data pipelines from upstream systems providing data availability and reporting for stakeholders
- Design and develop tooling for our customers and support agents
Requirements For Web Solutions Engineer, Support Tooling and Automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development
- 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design
- Experience with front end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript)
- Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, or Go)
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
