JASARA PMC is seeking a Sustainability and Environmental Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role combines environmental expertise with sustainable design principles to drive environmentally conscious project development. The position involves working within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure environmental compliance and sustainability in land development, master planning, and building projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in environmental & sustainability design projects, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to develop and implement sustainable solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant projects while ensuring they meet both local and international environmental standards. The position requires a deep understanding of environmental regulations, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities For Sustainability and Environmental Engineer
- Work as part of the environmental and sustainability team
- Understand and ensure compliance with sustainability and environmental requirements of local legislation and international standards
- Write and illustrate environmentally sustainable planning principles, concepts, strategies, controls and guidelines
- Apply thorough approach to projects and deliver environmentally sustainable design solutions
- Prepare and write environmental and sustainability reports for planning and design projects
- Work within multi-disciplinary teams to complete environmental and sustainability aspects of projects
- Provide technical environmental and sustainability expertise and administration
Requirements For Sustainability and Environmental Engineer
- Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Environmental Engineering or Equivalent
- 3+ years experience in environmental & sustainability design projects
- Experience with EIA's
- Value Engineering skills
- Engineering Planning and Review skills
- Design and specification skills
- Design review capabilities
