Responsibilities For Database Administrator- Lead Data Engineer

  • Implement database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies
  • Monitor customer-facing databases to ensure 24/7/365 uptime
  • Set up and configure Amazon RDS database instances
  • Solve and troubleshoot issues in Amazon RDS using DataDog and CloudWatch
  • Identify optimization opportunities within customer-facing databases
  • Perform change management of database systems

Requirements For Database Administrator- Lead Data Engineer

MongoDB
  • Formal training or certification in data engineering concepts with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies
  • Working experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including expertise in joins and aggregations
  • Experience with AWS database services
  • Proficiency in using Datadog and CloudWatch
  • Experience in administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
