Infrastructure Engineer III - Data Protection and Recovery

At JPMorgan Chase, one of the world's most iconic financial institutions, we're seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to join our Infrastructure Platforms-Data Protection and Recovery product line team. This role offers an opportunity to work with enterprise-scale infrastructure where you'll leverage your expertise in technical processes and data protection.

As an Infrastructure Engineer III, you'll be responsible for managing and contributing to various projects of moderate complexity, focusing on improving data systems running at scale and ensuring end-to-end monitoring. You'll work within our Global Technology Infrastructure group, a team of innovators who are passionate about technology and use a disciplined, innovative, and business-focused approach to develop high-quality products and solutions.

Your role will involve technology lifecycle management, capacity planning, and collaboration with application and infrastructure teams to identify and mitigate potential risks. You'll be working with enterprise Data Protection products and applying your knowledge of infrastructure disciplines including hardware, networking, databases, and storage engineering.

Key responsibilities include applying technical knowledge to moderate-scope projects, managing technology lifecycles, resolving technical issues, and driving daily activities supporting standard capacity processes. You'll also be accountable for making significant decisions for projects involving multiple technologies and applications.
