Join JPMorgan Chase as a Lead Infrastructure Engineer in the Electronic Trading Services team, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering infrastructure and performance excellence. This position offers an opportunity to work at one of the world's largest financial institutions, applying deep technical expertise in infrastructure engineering.

You'll be based in our new Athens office, part of our growing presence in Greece supporting our global Payments and Markets business innovation efforts. The role involves leading infrastructure and network engineering initiatives, focusing on low latency networking solutions.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading technical workstreams and projects in infrastructure engineering
  • Architecting and implementing modern technology solutions
  • Applying expertise in networking, cloud infrastructure, and automation
  • Working with cutting-edge technologies including Arista, Cisco, F5, and Fortinet devices
  • Developing solutions using scripting languages like Python
  • Contributing to performance optimization and system resilience

  • Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
  • Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
  • Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization
  • Executes creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Considers upstream/downstream data and systems implications and advises on mitigation actions

Requirements For Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Low Latency Network Engineering - Athens

Python

  • Formal training or certification on networking concepts and proficient advanced experience
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering (hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation)
  • Deep knowledge of specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (Python, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies
  • Experience with Arista, Cisco, F5 and Fortinet devices preferred
  • Experience with network automation tools like Ansible preferred
  • Experience with Corvil and Wireshark preferred
