Job Description
Liquid is a stealth-mode startup building a revolutionary trading app for perpetual futures, a new financial instrument becoming legal in the US. With over $40 million in funding, they are poised to disrupt the traditional futures trading landscape. As an early full-stack software engineer hire, you will play a crucial role in building out Liquid's core trading platform. You will develop new features for the React Native mobile app and Python-based backend, while optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaboration with product, design, and operations teams is essential, as well as continuously improving engineering processes.
The company offers a competitive salary range of $160,000-$300,000 with equity, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded, early-stage startup and make a significant impact on a new financial product in the US market.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and functionality for Liquid's React Native mobile app and Python-based backend
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams
