Senior Platform Engineer, Kubernetes

LTK is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with Kubernetes expertise to join their Platform team. This role is part of the LTK Foundation and Platform Engineering team, responsible for building and maintaining LTK's cloud infrastructure and development platform. The team delivers various services and libraries, including automation, configuration management, monitoring, alerting, enterprise infrastructure administration, identity management, and event orchestration.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building developer-facing tooling and infrastructure to improve satisfaction and development velocity
• Defining, documenting, and building golden paths for scalable and secure service development
• Collaborating with teams across the company to gather requirements and drive projects forward
• Providing guidance and unblocking others while helping team members grow through code reviews
• Making informed decisions about technical debt and tradeoffs
• Regularly evaluating and improving scrum team processes

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of software development experience, with expertise in building developer platforms/frameworks, migrating workloads to Kubernetes/EKS, and working with containerization technologies. Experience with AWS systems, Go/Python/C++/Java, API development, and various data storage technologies is required. The role also demands familiarity with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
