As a Systems Software Engineer, you will support high-impact research collaborations with leading AI labs by extending coding benchmarks. Freelancers will help improve AI systems through work extending coding benchmarks that reflect real-world development across diverse languages and domains.
In this role, you will develop and validate coding benchmarks in C++/Rust, focusing on object-oriented design principles. Curate tasks, solutions, and test suites from real-world repositories. You will also ensure benchmarks include robust unit and integration tests for solution verification, debug, optimize, and document benchmark code to ensure reliability and reproducibility. This is a part-time, remote position with flexible working hours, offering an hourly rate of $90 plus bonuses per approved task, potentially reaching a median average pay of $200/hr. Responsibilities
- Develop and validate coding benchmarks in C++/Rust with a focus on object-oriented design principles

- Debug, optimize, and document benchmark code to ensure reliability and reproducibility

Requirements
- 3–10 years of experience as a systems engineer at a top tier tech company or a US national lab
- Strong proficiency in C++/Rust
- Experience with debugging, testing, and validating mobile applications
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate technical reasoning clearly
