Description For Principal Software Engineering Manager

Microsoft is seeking a Principal Software Engineering Manager to join their Sovereign Platform Team, focusing on solutions for integrating Sovereign and public clouds. This role is part of an exciting initiative building services that provide security boundaries between hyperscale Azure clouds. The team develops capabilities that enable in-depth control of information and data flows across boundaries, ensuring elevated assurance levels for transfer between systems, domains, and networks.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of 6+ engineers, bringing 10+ years of technical experience and 5+ years of management expertise. They'll be responsible for driving high-impact projects, providing technical leadership in architecture and design, and ensuring quality delivery of cloud services.
