Founding Data Engineer (Customer-Facing)

Our platform delivers automated insights that empower clinical-stage biopharmaceutical companies to streamline operations, reduce manual workflows, and accelerate data-driven decision-making.

As a Founding Data Engineer (Customer-Facing), you'll work at the intersection of data engineering and real-world clinical impact. You'll collaborate directly with biotech teams to transform fragmented, messy clinical trial data into actionable dashboards and visualizations. This role combines technical expertise with customer interaction, requiring both strong data skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building data workflows and visualizations using SQL and Python
• Translating raw clinical trial data into clean, actionable insights
• Owning customer onboarding and technical delivery
• Joining weekly customer meetings to understand trial priorities
• Creating scalable, reusable analytics solutions
• Working closely with the CEO to shape product direction

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong SQL and Python skills for data wrangling and dashboard creation
• Experience working with stakeholders or customers
• Ability to own technical deliverables independently
• Proactive, resourceful approach with fast execution
• Experience in clinical trials or regulated environments (preferred)
