Founding Engineer

MorphoAI is revolutionizing the engineering of robots, heavy machinery, and surgical devices through their AI-powered invention platform. As a Founding Engineer, you'll work directly with the CTO and CEO on critical product capabilities, building solutions that dramatically impact customers' product development processes.

The role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities. You'll leverage your experience in software development, control systems, and machine learning to create innovative solutions while engaging directly with users to understand and solve their engineering challenges.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of hands-on software development experience or a PhD in computer science or robotics, with expertise in areas like numerical optimization, generative AI, physical simulation, and robotic control. You should be comfortable owning projects end-to-end and have a product-minded approach with strong communication skills.

The company is backed by venture capital and supported by a £2.5MM grant from ARIA, the UK Government's invention agency. The founding team includes alumni from MIT CSAIL, Harvard Business School, JPL, Disney, and Intel, combining academic excellence with industry experience.
