NetBox Labs, the commercial steward of open source NetBox, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team in a crucial role focused on acquiring and growing new customers. The role demands a unique blend of technical knowledge and communication skills, requiring 3+ years of direct enterprise SE experience or 5+ years of total experience. You'll work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate across multiple teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving the technical aspects of Enterprise sales cycles, serving as a trusted advisor to customers, and being a product advocate. Key responsibilities include running technical demonstrations, designing proof of concepts, and translating complex technical solutions into clear value propositions for customers.
The ideal candidate should have experience selling enterprise SaaS or Open Source SaaS offerings to Network Engineering teams, strong project management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. Experience with Python and cloud APIs is considered a significant advantage.
