Netflix, a global entertainment powerhouse with 283 million paid memberships across 190+ countries, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Marketing and Fandom team. This role sits at the intersection of Netflix's massive cultural impact and data-driven decision making. The position offers an opportunity to work on significant data challenges, supporting Netflix's marketing initiatives that generate over 100B social media impressions annually.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining data pipelines that support Netflix's expanding fandom activities, from social media analytics to real-world experiences like Netflix House locations. You'll work with both small-scale data (such as Netflix House sales) and massive datasets (like social media feeds), using technologies such as Spark, Flink, Hive/Iceberg, and Kafka.

This role requires a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience who can thrive in Netflix's unique culture. You'll be expected to work independently while collaborating across functions, demonstrating strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and data warehouse technologies.   • Experience with common data warehouse solutions
  • Strong communication skills
