Machine Learning Engineer (L4) - Machine Learning for Digital Characters and Environments Algorithms

The Digital Characters and Environments Algorithms team is at the forefront of innovation, enhancing and supporting the vision of creators of movies and TV shows. This role involves designing and developing tools that support artists' workflows by integrating GenAI models, collaborating cross-functionally, participating in algorithm development, contributing to infrastructure, and promoting software engineering best practices. The ideal candidate should have industry experience in visual effects, familiarity with ML and CG concepts, Python programming skills, and excellent communication abilities. Additional experience with deep learning frameworks, generative AI tools, and large-scale distributed systems is a plus.

Requirements:

• Industry experience in visual effects with practical knowledge of tools like Nuke, Houdini, or Maya
• Familiarity with concepts and workflows in ML and/or CG
• Skilled in Python programming
• Passion for turning ideas into great artist experiences
• Excellent communication and people engagement skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop tools that support artists' workflows by integrating GenAI models
• Collaborate cross-functionally with research scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Participate in algorithm development and propose scalable designs
• Contribute to building the development infrastructure
