Oracle Health & AI is a new organization focusing on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. Within this organization, the Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) team is seeking an Applied Scientist to join their innovative team. The role involves working with large volumes of data to solve healthcare domain problems using ML and AI technologies. The position is part of new teams being built in India, focusing on GenAI capabilities, Large Language Models (LLMs), and healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning frameworks, and experience with LLMs and GenAI technologies. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions in healthcare, with significant impact on product development and innovation. The position requires both technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be mentoring junior scientists while driving technical solutions. Responsibilities For Applied Scientist 4
- Strong expertise in Python programming and Deep Learning frameworks
- Knowledge of Classification, Prediction, Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting, Anomaly Detection
- Ability to use existing libraries and design algorithms ground-up
- Combine ML Sciences depth with programming expertise
- Mentor & lead junior data scientists
- Contribute to peer reviews and team learning
- Strong research record preferred through publications
- Identify and investigate new technologies
- Take responsibility for technical problem solving
- Strong experience in LLM Systems and LLMOps
Requirements For Applied Scientist 4
- Ph.D. Degree preferred
- Experience having led multiple projects leveraging LLMs, GenAI and Prompt Engineering
- Exposure to real-world MLOps deploying models into production
- Knowledge of working in a cloud environment
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Strong understanding of LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering and Copilot
